Alabama assistant strength and conditioning coach Josh Chapman was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department.
Chapman, 27, was found "passed out" in his vehicle, a Tuscaloosa police spokeswoman said, according to ESPN's Alex Scarborough.
Chapman joined the Crimson Tide's coaching staff before the 2016 season. He played for Alabama as a defensive lineman from 2007-11, and spent three seasons in the NFL.
The two-time national champion was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
