Florida linebacker Alex Anzalone will bypass his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft, he announced Wednesday.
Anzalone was a key part of the Gators' ferocious defense until a season-ending broken arm struck him in early-November. Anzalone also saw his 2015 cut short due to injury.
The junior recorded 53 tackles and three sacks this season for the SEC East champions, who triumphed over Iowa in the Outback Bowl to conclude their 9-4 season.
