Report: Michigan's Shane Morris to pursue graduate transfer
Rick Osentoski / USA TODAY Sports
Shane Morris' time with Michigan appears to be over.
The Wolverines quarterback will be leaving the program as a graduate transfer, a source told Tom VanHaaren of ESPN. Morris committed to the Wolverines in 2013, but has only played sparingly during his time in Ann Arbor.
With Wilton Speight entrenched as the starter and John O'Korn handling the backup duties in 2016, Morris tumbled down the depth chart.
The Wolverines also have four-star pivots Dylan McCaffrey and Brandon Peters to push Speight for the starting job next year.
