Illinois' Malik Turner stretchered off after taking hit to head

Illinois receiver Malik Turner was carted off the field in the second quarter against Minnesota on Saturday.
Turner took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Gophers safety Duke McGhee after cutting across the middle and making a catch. McGhee was ejected from the game for targeting, while Turner was taken off with a neck brace.
The junior was taken to hospital, where he reportedly was moving all his extremities, according to Matt Daniels of the News-Gazette.

Coming into the contest, Turner had recorded 33 catches for 513 yards and four touchdowns.
