Jackson's 16-yard strike to Jamari Staples sent him past fellow quarterbacks Dave Ragone and Brian Brohm on the school's single-season list and gave the Cardinals a 41-0 lead over NC State before halftime.
Jackson went into the break with 359 yards of offense, while the Wolfpack managed a much more modest 54.
