Florida and LSU don't like each other at the best of times, and with the back-and-forth this week with rescheduling their game, the hate is escalating.

On Tuesday, LSU mascot Mike VI was euthanized, then on Saturday, Gators players were seen with a cat skeleton on the sidelines with Mardi Gras beads around its neck.

The skeleton was also in the crowd sporting purple and gold beads, LSU's colors.

Florida tweeted out a statement Sunday, saying the object - a "Halloween cat" - was brought to the stadium by a fan and has no ties to the school.

Fans on the Bayou aren't very thrilled with the act or the statement.

The teams meet Nov. 19 in Baton Rouge.
