Report: Tennessee's Danny O'Brien dismissed due to failed drug test
Randy Sartin / USA TODAY Sports
Tennessee dismissed defensive tackle Danny O'Brien from the program Monday due to a third drug-related incident, according to Jimmy Hyams of WNML.
Last year, O'Brien was suspended against Oklahoma and Western Carolina, after a positive drug test.
The news of O'Brien's dismissal came just days after he was carted off the field Saturday against Texas A&M following a helmet-to-helmet hit.
