Ohio State spring-game losers shovel mulch as punishment

For those who think spring games are meaningless, Ohio State offered photographic evidence Friday that there are indeed consequences for losing the exhibition.
In April's annual Scarlet and Gray game, played this year in front of 100,000 fans, the Gray team emerged victorious - and the punishment for the losers is an afternoon of landscaping and mulch shoveling in Buckeye Grove.
The Buckeyes will hope to avoid any further losses and assigned manual labor when their 2016 season kicks off Sept. 3 against Bowling Green.
