Jalen Tabor is taking to social media in hopes of getting an opportunity from his head coach.
The Florida defensive back publicly asked Jim McElwain on Wednesday to use him as a punt returner this season.
Coach Mac pls let me play punt return

Just let me get one so I can show you what I can do lol

Tabor certainly has the speed to be a successful return man, but he's too valuable to the Gators' defense for the team to risk having him injured on special teams. The sophomore will likely have to do a better sales job if he hopes to convince McElwain.
