Report: Arkansas' Keon Hatcher undergoes 2nd surgery on ailing foot
The same foot that cost Keon Hatcher most of last season appears to be giving the Arkansas wideout trouble again.
Hatcher, who was granted a medical redshirt to return this year, recently underwent surgery on the same foot he broke in September 2015, multiple sources told Andrew Hutchison of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. A reason for the procedure, as well as a timetable for his recovery, remain unknown at this point.
Hatcher recorded 13 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns in less than two full games last year, before breaking his foot against Toledo and spending the rest of the season on the sidelines. If he's healthy this season, the fifth-year senior could emerge as a breakout performer on the Razorbacks' offense.
Hatcher was a full participant in Arkansas' spring practice, and he caught three passes for 48 yards in the Red-White Game.
