West Virginia guard Juwan Staten will miss Saturday's game against Baylor due to a left knee injury, head coach Bob Huggins told reporters, and the team later announced.
Staten suffered the injury in Tuesday night's 71-64 win over Texas, but the team had held out hope that he would be ready to go by Saturday afternoon.
Staten leads the Mountaineers in scoring with 14.5 points per game and is also averaging a team-high 4.6 assists.
