Kentucky came within one first-place vote in this week's AP Poll from being a unanimous No. 1.
Virginia - a mainstay at No. 2 since Week 10 - received the outlying first-place vote.
The top half of the poll remained relatively unchanged besides Duke, Wisconsin and Arizona all moving up one spot thanks to a Villanova upset loss, dropping the Wildcats to No. 7 from No. 4.
The biggest slide comes from Iowa State, dropping from No. 15 from No. 9 after a loss to Texas Tech.
At the bottom end of the poll, Georgetown re-entered the list at No. 21 after a three week hiatus, while Miami made its debut at No. 23.
