North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson fractured his left hand during the first half of Tuesday's loss versus Miami, the Tar Heels announced Thursday.

North Carolina has yet to announce a timetable for Wilson's return.

"X-rays taken during the game were negative, and he returned to play later in the second half versus the Hurricanes, but additional imaging done in Chapel Hill revealed the fracture," the Tar Heels said in a statement. "The evaluation process is ongoing to determine the timetable for Wilson's return."

As a freshman, Wilson is averaging 19.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game this season.

The 19-year-old projects to be a top-five pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
