Yale forward Jordan Bruner committed to play at Alabama next season as a graduate transfer, according to Hank South of 247Sports.

Bruner nearly averaged a double-double in his senior year, posting 10.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He also averaged 3.7 assists and 1.7 blocks in 32.4 minutes per contest.

The 6-foot-9 forward chose the Crimson Tide over Baylor and Maryland, citing Alabama head coach Nate Oats' efforts to secure his commitment as a reason why.

"Just the research that Coach Oats has done and the time he puts into learning my game before he even called me," Bruner told South. "And learning about how his pieces are going to fit together. He's done a pretty good job recruiting this year.

"I think he's putting something with real potential together. I think that's the biggest thing that impresses me about Coach Oats."

Bruner, who was named to the 2019-20 All-Ivy first team, was ranked the ninth-best available grad transfer by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
