Ohio State will have to look beyond Omaha, Neb., for its next head coach, as Creighton's Greg McDermott tweeted Thursday he has no intention of leaving the Bluejays.

Reports surfaced Wednesday night that Ohio State had offered the 52-year-old McDermott the job.

Other potential candidates who've rejected interest from the Buckeyes include Fred Hoiberg of the Chicago Bulls and Xavier's Chris Mack.

Multiple reports have suggested the Buckeyes are interested in Golden State Warriors assistant Mike Brown, but the program has yet to contact the Columbus native and former Cleveland Cavaliers frontman, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Ohio State parted ways with Thad Matta on June 5 following a 13-year tenure.
