Seton Hall lands prolific Sacred Heart transfer Quincy McKnight
Seton Hall added a potential replacement for star Khadeen Carrington on Friday as former Sacred Heart guard Quincy McKnight told Jeff Goodman of ESPN that he is transferring to join the Pirates.
Carrington has one season of eligibility left with Seton Hall, which will coincide perfectly with McKnight's availability as NCAA rules state he must sit out next season following the transfer. Once eligible, McKnight will have two seasons left to play for Seton Hall.
McKnight was one of the best scorers in the Northeast Conference last season, pouring in 18.9 points per game while also adding 4.9 rebounds and three assists. His addition will be huge for the Pirates next season, as Carrington, Angel Delgado, and Desi Rodriguez will all be graduating following the 2017-18 campaign.
