With both Michigan and Minnesota fighting to stay on the bubble for an NCAA Tournament bid, the Wolverines kept their hopes alive as D.J. Wilson made the deep three to tie things up, his first triple of the game.
Wilson was not done, as he hit his second triple to bring them within one at 79-78 in the extra frame. However, that was as close as they would get, as Minnesota was able to come away with the 83-78 victory.
