Michigan State's Kenny Goins: Exits with apparent leg injury

Goins has gone back to the Michigan State locker room with an apparent lower leg injury, Matt Charboneau of The Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

According to Charboneau, Goins landed hard on his right ankle early in Saturday's game against Penn State and needed help getting off the floor. He immediately went back to the locker room to receive treatment, and it's unclear if he'll be able to return to action against the Nittany Lions. Matt Van Dyk may be pressed into additional action if Goins is unable to return.
