Southern Miss made some noise in the transfer market Thursday by picking up former Oklahoma State guard Tyree Griffin, a source told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Griffin averaged 5.2 points and three assists last season before announcing his intention to leave the program in May.
The sophomore will have to sit out the 2016-17 campaign because of NCAA transfer rules, but will still have two years of eligibility remaining.
