Iowa State's Deonte Burton withdraws from NBA draft

Deonte Burton is on his way back to Ames for a fourth season.

The Iowa State junior guard, who averaged 9.7 points per game in his third season with the Cyclones, has filed the paperwork to withdraw from the 2016 NBA Draft, the school confirmed Wednesday.

The return of Burton, as well as as Naz Mitrou-Long and Matt Thomas, means Iowa State should possess one of the better backcourts in the country next season.
