Butler defeats Saginaw Valley 96-70

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Finley Bizjack had 17 points in Butler's 96-70 victory against Saginaw Valley on Friday night.

Bizjack shot 4 for 8 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free throw line for the Bulldogs (9-2). Pierre Brooks was 7 of 13 shooting (1 for 3 from 3-point range) to add 15 points. DJ Davis had 12 points and shot 4 for 8, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs picked up their sixth straight win.

The Cardinals were led by Freddie McIntosh, who recorded 22 points and two steals. Saginaw Valley also got 13 points, two steals and four blocks from Kevonne Taylor. In addition, Tre Garrett had 11 points and seven rebounds.
