Perkins' 22 lead Pennsylvania past Villanova 76-72

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tyler Perkins' 22 points helped Pennsylvania defeat Villanova 76-72 on Monday night.

Perkins also contributed six rebounds for the Quakers (3-1). Eddie Holland III scored 12 points while going 4 of 6 from the floor, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and 2 for 4 from the line, and added five rebounds. Clark Slajchert had 11 points and was 4 of 11 shooting, including 0 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line.

Justin Moore finished with 25 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (2-1). Jordan Longino added 14 points for Villanova. Eric Dixon also had 12 points and nine rebounds.
