Hornets' Frank Kaminsky: Expected to be out 10-to-14 days
Coach Steve Clifford said Saturday that he expects Kaminsky (shoulder) to miss 10-to-14 days, The Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell reports.
Analysis:
That timetable means that Kaminsky will miss at least five additional games, after having already sat out Saturday against the Nuggets with a sprained left shoulder, which he sustained last Thursday in a loss to the Suns. In Kaminsky's absence Saturday, Cody Zeller returned to the starting lineup at center and picked up 26 minutes, while Johnny O'Bryant (15 minutes) and Christian Wood (five minutes) saw the rest of the run at the position. Look for Zeller to dominate the workload at center for as long as Kaminsky is out, though the impending return of Miles Plumlee (calf) could soon result in less playing time for O'Bryant and Wood.
