Timberwolves pose with Olajuwon after loss to Rockets
While the Minnesota Timberwolves don't possess the NBA's youngest roster, thanks in large part to Kevin Garnett (39 years old) and Tayshaun Prince (36), the heart of the team lies in its young core of Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Zach LaVine, all of whom are 21 or younger.
While they may be young, they know a living legend when they see one.
The team lost a tight 116-111 matchup with Houston Rockets on Friday night, with former two-time NBA champion, 1994 MVP, and Hall-of-Famer Hakeem Olajuwon sitting courtside.
After the game, the Timberwolves were greeted by "The Dream," with several players snagging a photo-op with the legend:
"Even after a loss, you have to take advantage of meeting a legend like that," LaVine said. "The career he had - he was such an honor to even be around."
