Bairstow (back) will not play Saturday against the Rockets due to a back injury, K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis:
The second-year big man will be held out of Saturday's matchup as he recovers from an undisclosed back injury. Fortunately for the Bulls, Taj Gibson (hamstring) will be back in the fold Saturday, but rookie Bobby Portis could see additional minutes off the bench with Bairstow sidelined. Bairstow's next chance to return will come Monday against the Bucks.
