Former NBA player Michael Beasley has been named the foreign MVP of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Yi Jianlian - the no. 6 pick of the 2007 draft - earned the domestic MVP.

Beasley posted monster numbers as a member of the Shandong Golden Stars, averaging 31.9 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 blocks, while shooting 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Beasley's impressive season has earned him attention among NBA circles, with several teams reportedly interested in signing the 6-foot-9 forward as of last week.

The Kansas State product averaged 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in his seven-year NBA career as a member of the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Phoenix Suns.
