Report: Cavaliers pursued trade for Kings' Koufos
In an effort to bolster their frontcourt for the final stretch of the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly reached out to the Sacramento Kings to potentially acquire center Kosta Koufos, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
There's only so many minutes to go around at the five spot in Sacramento, with All-Star DeMarcus Cousins and rookie Willie Cauley-Stein slotted in ahead of Koufos, who signed a four-year, $33-million contract with the franchise last summer.
He joins an ever-growing list of trade targets the Cavaliers have been linked to in recent weeks, including teammate Ben McLemore, Joe Johnson, Trevor Ariza, Kyle Korver, Jared Dudley, and Omer Asik.

Timofey Mozgov and his expiring contract of $4.9 million would, in all likelihood, be shipped off in a deal for Koufos.
In 52 appearances, Koufos is averaging 6.8 and 5.7 rebounds on 53.3 percent shooting.
