Carmelo Anthony: Will play Friday

Anthony (knee) will play Friday against the Suns, Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Knee soreness has kept Anthony out of each of the last two games, but he'll return Friday, and he'll be joined in the starting frontcourt by Kristaps Porzingis, who was also initially questionable with an illness. Starting point guard Jose Calderon (groin) will be held out, however, and Langston Galloway will start in his place.
