Heat's McRoberts out vs. Pacers with bruised knee
Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports
Miami Heat forward Josh McRoberts will not play in Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers due to a right knee injury that has sidelined him for the past 13 games.
McRoberts was initially listed as questionable for Monday's game before being officially ruled out. The 28-year-old was said to be working out along the sidelines during a team practice Friday, signalling a return to the lineup may be in the near future.
The forward hasn't played in a game since Dec. 9 in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets, and with his recent surgically repaired knee being the source of the bruising, the Heat are cautious on bringing the big back too soon.
