Pacers' Miles sidelined with sore lower back vs. Hawks
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
The Indiana Pacers will be without a huge offensive weapon in their lineup Monday night when the Atlanta Hawks come to town.
Swingman C.J. Miles - the second-leading scorer on the team with 14.6 points per game - will not play as he deals with a sore lower back.
The 28-year-old veteran is experiencing his strongest year to date with the 17-12 Pacers, averaging career highs in minutes per game (27.6), points (14.6), and player efficiency rating (16.2).
Both Chase Budinger and Glen Robinson III should see an increased role in Miles' stead.
