Kobe Bryant showed glimpses of his former self in the Los Angeles Lakers' Thursday night loss to the Houston Rockets with a wicked dunk over Clint Capela.

Although his teammates and fans everywhere were stunned and overjoyed to witness the vintage slam, "The Black Mamba" told ESPN Los Angeles his youngest daughter, 10-year-old Gianna, was especially enthusiastic.

"We were shooting not too long ago and she was shooting one-dribble pullups," Bryant said. "I asked her where does she got that from. She said, 'From watching you.'

"I didn't know she was paying attention that much," he explained. "I watch her play and she has the same mannerisms. She'll sit there and bite her jersey and all this other stuff.

"That's a beautiful thing."
