Denver Nuggets power forward Darrell Arthur will not play Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.

Arthur suffered a knee injury in Tuesday's loss to the Orlando Magic.

After a slow start to the season, Arthur played well during his brief stint in the starting lineup, averaging 12.8 points and 5.3 rebounds, while shooting a ridiculous 75 percent from beyond the arc.

The Nuggets have lost nine of their last 11 games after a 6-5 start. They will try and bounce back tonight against a Timberwolves team that sits 10th in the Western Conference.

Kenneth Faried will continue to start at power forward for Denver.
