VIDEO: Olynyk pulls a 'Dirk' on Nowitzki, misses, they laugh

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
That well-known saying was surely on Kelly Olynyk's mind Wednesday as his Boston Celtics hosted Dirk Nowitzki's Dallas Mavericks.
Olynyk's attempt at the patented "Dirk fadeaway" is almost comical given the separation he had on the 37-year-old Nowitzki. After hitting iron, everybody on the floor shared a laugh, and you can even make out Olynyk saying to Nowitzki, "I had to try it."

The veteran outscored the youngster 23-5 as the Mavs won 106-102.
