VIDEO: Klay Thompson shushes Cleveland crowd to cap blowout
Eat your heart out, Ric Flair.
The 16-time world champion and maybe the greatest heel wrestler of all time was in attendance for Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, but not even the dirtiest player in the game – on record as rooting for the Cleveland Cavaliers despite sharing a hometown with Steph Curry – could hold a candle to the heel tactics of Klay Thompson at the end of the Golden State Warriors' victory.
Up big and with the lead growing larger and larger, Thompson raised his arms in the air to celebrate before shushing the Quicken Loans Arena crowd.
The Warriors would roll to a 103-82 victory to even the series at 2-2, leaving a feeling of a momentum shift with the series headed back to Oakland. The crowd at The Q will get one more chance to boo Thompson, who had nine points Thursday, for Game 6 on Tuesday.
