When factoring in offseason additions for the Milwaukee Bucks, don't forget about Damien Inglis.
The No. 31 overall pick in last year's draft spent his freshman year as a de facto redshirt, missing the entire season. Inglis broke his right foot during a pre-draft workout and underwent summer surgery in France, but it failed to correct the issue and he ultimately required right ankle surgery in January as a result.
His rookie totals: 0 minutes played, 0 points, 0 anything.
He'll give it another go in 2015-16, and he'll be ready to get things off on the right foot - pun intended - by the time Summer League tips off in July. His $855,000 salary is fully guaranteed, all but ensuring him a roster spot, but his potential likely would have earned him that opportunity anyway.
With a 7-foot-3 wingspan and 9-foot standing reach, the 20-year-old should fit in comfortably with head coach Jason Kidd's all-length approach to defense, once he's game-ready. When that will be remains somewhat of a mystery, as he just lost an entire development year and previously played small minutes in the second division of the French league.
He's an intriguing project, one that will probably spend a fair amount of time in the D-League this season.
