Bucks rookie Damien Inglis out for the season following surgery
A pair of 19-year-old Milwaukee Bucks are undergoing season-ending surgery on Monday.
No. 2 overall Jabari Parker will have his torn left ACL repaired nearly a month after suffering the injury, one that will keep him out for the remainder of his rookie season and has been known about for some time.
Joining him on the operating table is Damien Inglis, who will have surgery on his right ankle. Inglis, the No. 31 overall pick in the draft, has yet to suit up for Milwaukee, whether it be Summer League, preseason or the regular season. He originally broke his right foot during a pre-draft workout and subsequently underwent summer surgery in France, one that failed to correct the issue.
Still just 19, Inglis is expected to be ready for the beginning of next season. With a 7-foot-3 wingspan, he should fit in comfortably with head coach Jason Kidd's all-length approach to defense.
