Matt Barnes is reading your tweets about Matt Barnes
You're pro basketball player Matt Barnes and you've just played – and won – an elimination game in the first round of the NBA playoffs against the Spurs in San Antonio, hitting all three of your field-goal attempts, adding seven rebounds and two steals. What do you do?
Log on to Twitter and read tweets about yourself, obviously.
Barnes took exception to one tweet in particular late Thursday night, from former NBA player Casey Jacobsen.

Jacobsen actually played 287 games in the Association over four seasons, starting only 14. Barnes has played 779 games over 12 years, plus 71 postseason games. Both were selected in the 2002 draft, Jacobsen 22nd overall and Barnes 45th overall.
Barnes has clearly had the more prolific career and obviously felt the need to remind Jacobsen of the fact.
The lesson here, as always: never tweet.
