Reggie Jackson notches triple-double as Pistons dispatch Magic

Raj Mehta / USA TODAY Sports

Reggie Jackson picked up his second triple-double of the month Friday night, but the reflecting result for his Detroit Pistons was a whole lot better this time around.

Jackson triple-doubled in the Pistons' embarrassing 11-point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on March 18, but on Friday, behind his 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, the Pistons throttled the Orlando Magic, 111-97.

It was the fourth straight win and the fifth in the last six games for the Pistons, who've beaten quality opponents in the Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors during that span.

Jackson, who struggled to get acclimated in his first month in Detroit (which included a 10-game losing streak) has been a huge part of the team's recent hot streak. In the past six games, he's averaged 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 11.8 assists.
