After rookie forward Aaron Gordon missed two months of his rookie season due to a left foot fracture, certainly the last thing the Orlando Magic wanted to see is Gordon suffer another injury to that part of his body.

But Gordon limped to the locker room in in the second quarter against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, seemingly unable to put any weight on his left leg.

Thankfully, the injury wasn't to his foot, but  the Magic announced that he was diagnosed with a sprained left ankle, and he did not return to the game.

Gordon seemed to suffer the injury on this play, when his shoe inexplicably flew off and he tried to drive the ball to the hoop anyway.

Aaron Gordon needs to tie his shoes better apparently. Didn't even need Ty Chandler to lose it
