The Toronto Raptors will be without starting power forward Amir Johnson on Saturday, and likely even longer.
Raptors head coach Dwane Casey told reporters that Johnson will be out for a little bit due to a sprained right ankle he suffered during Friday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets. Johnson scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting and grabbed three rebounds in 16 minutes before leaving.
The 27-year-old, in his sixth season with Toronto, is averaging 9.4 points on 57.5 percent shooting from the field and 6.1 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game. He'll get a few days to rest and get treatment before the Raptors' next contest Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets.
Toronto will also be without point guard Kyle Lowry on Saturday. The All-Star is missing his sixth consecutive game with back spasms.
