Cavs' Love questionable Monday due to back spasms
Kevin Love practiced Sunday after missing the Cleveland Cavaliers' last game and is being listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Chicago Bulls. He'll be re-evaluated after team shootaround Monday morning.
Love, dealing with back spasms, played through Thursday's victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in visible agony, but was unable to go the following night.
The Cavaliers managed fine without the three-time All-Star on Friday, taking down the Los Angeles Clippers on the road to win their second consecutive game. Any potential loss of Love can be better stomached now that the Cavaliers have LeBron James back on the court.
James has been a force since returning from an eight-game absence. In three contests, the four-time MVP is averaging 33.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and two steals.
Love is averaging 17.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in his first year in Cleveland, while ranking fifth in the NBA with 21 double-doubles.
