Ellis (ankle) had to leave Sunday's game late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, but claims he'll play in the Mavericks next game, Mav's insider Earl K. Sneed reports. In a postgame interview Ellis said, "I'm not missing no games. I'll go home and take care of what I need to take care of."

Analysis:

Ellis wasn't able to finish the game against a tough opponent, which is never a good sign. We'll have to wait and see if he practices on Monday, but should most likely be updated on the severity of his ankle injury within the next day.
