Grizzlies' Randolph out Saturday with swollen knee
The struggling Memphis Grizzlies will once again have to get by without power forward Zach Randolph, who is set to miss his fourth consecutive game Saturday due to a swollen right knee.
Memphis has sputtered during Randolph's absence, going 0-3 and will take a season-high four-game losing skid into Saturday's road contest against the Miami Heat.
The Grizzlies' schedule hasn't been easy - they've lost to the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets during their streak - but four losses in a week is as many as the team dropped during the first seven weeks of the season.
Despite the team's recent woes, the Grizzlies have enjoyed a strong start to the season and Randolph has once again been a big part of it. The 14-year veteran is averaging 16.1 points on 48.3 percent shooting from the field while hauling in 11.4 rebounds, good for the sixth-best mark in the NBA.
Randolph's next chance to play is Tuesday versus the San Antonio Spurs.
