VIDEO: Jonas Valanciunas becomes a Purolator trainee

Jonas Valanciunas has emerged as one of the NBA's promising young big men over the last couple of years.

At 22, he's already firmly entrenched as a starter on a playoff team in Toronto, averaging 11.8 points, nine rebounds and 1.2 blocks for the 20-6, East-leading Raptors.

He also boasts an impressive Player Efficiency Rating of 19.9 and a top-11 rebound rate.

Unfortunately for Raptors fans, their prized young big man may be giving it all up to focus on a career at Purolator.

Kudos to JV – or Big Science, as Drake calls him – for finding a few seconds to mock the tough pronunciation of his name.
