Analysis:
Pekovic is also dealing with an ankle issue, but coach Flip Saunders said the wrist is what is truly bothering him right now. Sticking by Saunders' timetable, Pekovic will miss at least three games: Wednesday (New York), Friday (San Antonio), and Saturday (Sacramento). The Timberwolves are then off until Wednesday (Nov. 26), when they host the Bucks. Expect Gorgui Dieng to fill in at center while Pekovic is sidelined.
