The Minnesota Timberwolves may as well have stayed in Mexico.

Two days after losing to the Houston Rockets in Mexico City, the T-Wolves went to New Orleans and allowed the Pelicans to set a slew of franchise records in a 139-91 obliteration.

The Pelicans' 80 first-half points, 48-point margin of victory, 66.7 percent field-goal shooting and 56 made field goals all set new franchise marks en route to their fifth win of the season.

Anthony Davis continued his superb start to the season with 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting in just 27 minutes. Davis also added four rebounds, three assists, two blocks, two steals and these demoralizing alleyoop jams.

Jrue Holiday was the most impressive Pelican on the night, however, pouring in 24 points on a near-perfect 9-of-10 shooting.

The ugly defeat did come with a silver lining for Minnesota, as prized rookie Andrew Wiggins posted the first 20-point game of his career. Wiggins finished with 20 points, five rebounds and an assist on 7-of-10 shooting.
