Knicks' D-League team to have ads on jerseys this season
It's well established by now that the NBA considers the D-League its testing ground for rule changes, in-game strategies and other tweaks to the game.
As it turns out, it's also a testing ground for new marketing efforts. With advertisements on NBA jerseys thought to be an eventual certainty - specifics were even negotiated in the league's new media rights deal - the league will see how such an arrangement plays out in the D-League.
The Westchester Knicks, the D-League affiliate of the New York Knicks, will have advertisements on their home and away jerseys this season. Right beneath the player number and KNICKS name will be the Chase logo. The bank logo will also appear at center court and the court apron in what the Madison Square Garden Company is calling a "marquee partnership."

WNBA jerseys are already adorned with advertisements, so this isn't entirely new to the NBA family. It shouldn't be long before NBA uniforms have advertisements too, like it or not.
