New NBPA executive director Michele Roberts releases statement on Hornets' Taylor

With Michele Roberts officially installed as the NBPA's executive director, her first order of business Friday was to release a statement addressing the Jeff Taylor situation.
The Charlotte Hornets forward was suspended from all team activities on Friday following his arrest on a domestic assault charge. Roberts, the first woman to ever head a major sports union, was terse and diplomatic, championing due process in the face of what's fast becoming the most scrutinized issue in professional sports.
