Yes, Carlos Boozer has been handed his Lakers jersey and is officially a part of the team.
Boozer said he was "extremely excited to be here and be a Laker." He praised fellow frontcourt players Julius Randle and Ed Davis, and mentioned being comfortable switching between power forward and center.
The Lakers are looking to rebound from a disappointing 2013-14 season that saw them win 27 games, their lowest total since 1959-60. Boozer will be tasked with filling the role vacated by Pau Gasol, who is switching spots with Boozer and starting for the Chicago Bulls.
