Analysis:
At 6-9, 250, Randle is a Zach Randolph clone and has the post game to prove it. Boasting an explosive first step, deft body control, and tremendous finishing ability, Randle draws contact with regularity, taking 7.2 free throws -- and hitting 70.6 percent -- en route to 15 points and 10.4 rebounds across 31 minutes per contest during his only season at Kentucky. As a lefty, he's apt to throw off opposing defenders throughout his career, and with an immediate opening in a mostly barren roster in Lakerland, he should immediately start at the four. However, he mentioned Wednesday that he'd be OK with undergoing foot surgery, if his upcoming employer desired it, ESPN reports, which could delay his NBA debut, if serious.
